NZ Car Compare is operated as a small independent project. We aim to respond to all emails within 2–3 business days. For urgent matters please include "URGENT" in the subject line.
If a vehicle lookup is returning incorrect information, please email feedback@nzcarcompare.co.nz with the plate number and what you believe is incorrect. Vehicle data is sourced from the Carjam API and the NZ Transport Agency register — if the underlying data is wrong we'll investigate and flag it appropriately.
If you find a bug or the site is behaving unexpectedly, a description of what you were trying to do and what happened instead is very helpful.
Fuel economy figures, CO₂ ratings, and safety ratings are sourced from Carjam, EECA, and the NZTA register. If you believe a figure is wrong, the most effective path is to contact Carjam or RightCar directly, as they are the data custodians. We will reflect any corrections they make automatically.
